Shine Your Light Through Someone You Love

We all have light inside of us. It is a spark of humanity. That light is given as a divine compass to help us align with truth and to help us find our way in an often dark place. To share our light with someone we love is a gift and it expands our light even to greater degrees.

Service to others is a way to grow our light. Be the most powerful version of yourself by assisting another person on their journey. Today as I took my morning walk I made sure to smile at every single person I passed. To smile is to acknowledge and to see others and it is a moment of sharing. Even a simple smile might be the lifeline to a lonely person, a sense of unity and a brief shared moment. Smile at everyone you pass today!

Please do not have an attachment to the outcome. You can love someone, a partner, a child, a friend, a family member, a person you work with, a neighbor and they may turn around and bite you! Sharing your love doesn’t mean you don’t have boundaries. Take care of yourself and don’t allow people to remain in your energy if they bite. We teach little children better ways to address issues rather than biting and we can require more of the people we allow in our world. The closer they are the better they should treat you-not worse!

Shining your light is the spiritual work of life to gain access to your own inner sanctuary and in that sacred chamber find the value of your life and the meaning that you desire to share with others. Often the things that have messed you up are your message to share. Learn to discern and in that process also learn to compassionately, not co-dependently give to others and allow them to be responsible for themselves. Everyone has to do their own work.

This week pick someone and shine your light through them. Fill them to the brim and think well on that soul. Bless everything and everyone as you trust that your light is a powerful source for good and that its reach is greater than you will ever know.

To shine through another soul is to reflect the divine in yourself. Be the light.
